Being a local Mt Tamborine wedding stylist, I absolutely love curating beautiful events at wedding venues across this part of the Gold Coast. You simply can’t get much better than Mt Tamborine when it comes to romance. With sweeping hinterland views, stunning sunsets, cosy cottages, quaint chapels and an abundance of wineries, there really is an option to suit everyone’s idea of romance.

Hampton Estate Winery
For a wedding venue on Mt Tamborine that really ticks all the boxes you want in a modern and luxurious wedding, then look no further than Hampton Estate Wines.
The recently refurbished restaurant and reception space boasts amazing local history and character with incredible high ceilings, a sweeping staircase and an atmospheric grand fireplace perfect for a cosy winter wedding. Its timeless style works seamlessly with simple and elegant wedding styling through to the most luxurious and romantic of wedding visions.
Complementing this iconic building is the glass chapel overlooking the lawn and hinterland views for the more traditional ceremony space. For those looking for an open-air wedding ceremony, you simply can not go past the immaculate green lawn with stunning views beyond. This blank canvas space is a wedding stylist’s dream with endless options for the most dreamy of wedding ceremonies.
The brand new wine bar is the perfect transitional space for afternoon cocktails on the terrace. For those looking for something a little moodier, the hidden whisky bar below the restaurant provides a totally different vibe.
Completing this venue package are 8 hamptons style units, the perfect location for bridal party preparations and sleeping up to 18 guests on-site after an evening of partying.

Mason Wines
A rustic and romantic winery overlooking its own vine-covered valley, this Mt Tamborine wedding venue is well known in the industry for its amazing lunch menu. For couples who love the more rustic vibe, then Mason Wines is a great option.
Whether you locate your wedding ceremony on the main lawn for a view of the vineyard beyond or create a more intimate atmosphere in amongst a cove of trees, your ceremony styling options are endless.
The scenic lawn provides the perfect location for afternoon cocktails for your guests while you have photos amongst the vines or in the many picturesque locations around the property.
The restaurant deck overlooking the lawn and valley has its own relaxed and rustic ambience for an evening of fine food.
The onsite cottages provide a convenient location for bridal party preparations keeping your entire wedding day within walking distance, and sleeping up to 16 guests.
Cedar Creek Estate
Boasting one of the mountain’s most romantic wedding chapels, Cedar Creek Estate is the perfect option for couples looking for that traditional romantic setting. The chapel’s trio of arched windows are a timeless backdrop to your wedding ceremony, or for an outdoor setting the pergola and deck by the lily pond have a dreamy and whimsical vibe.
The Vineyard Terrace provides a relaxing and open transitional space for cocktail hour drinks, or a lovely setting for a smaller, more intimate wedding reception. Open to the views beyond and surrounded by warm wood tones and simple white walls, the Vineyard Terrace provides endless options for some seriously romantic wedding styling.
If a larger reception space is needed, then the Cedar Room can cater up to 110 guests. As the name suggests, the room is full of warmth and character from an abundance of timber finishes and the cross-back chairs create the perfect balance of modern rustic charm.
Albert River Wines
Located at the base of Mt Tamborine, the breathtaking Albert River Wines brings together heritage character and ultimate romance in a lush vineyard setting.
Wedding ceremony locations abound on the property with three equally romantic outdoor settings available, from the Jacaranda Gazebo looking over the iconic vines to Mt Tamborine beyond, to the shady reaches of Grand Tree and the Chapel Garden. However, it is hard to surpass the atmosphere within the Historic Chapel, formerly the St Paul’s Lutheran Church. Featuring original timber pews and a feature archway, the Historic Chapel sets the tone for the most romantic of wedding days.
With three separate reception spaces each seating up to 120 guests you are sure to find the perfect setting for your wedding style. The Auchenflower Ballroom is the most traditional of the settings, including timber paneled walls and floor. Tamborine House, a fully enclosed deck, is the perfect setting for those couples looking for an open-air wedding reception space without the stress of wet weather. But by far our favourite reception space at Albert River Wines is The Vineyard Deck. Dining under the stars with twinkling festoon lights overhead, spectacular views, the flicker of soft candle light and dreamy floral centerpieces, it’s hard to imagine a more magical setting to celebrate your wedding day.

Mt Tamboine's Hang Gliders Lookout
Ok, so this is not strictly a wedding venue but when reviewing the most romantic wedding location on Mt Tamborine you simply can not go past the Hang Gliders Lookout for those afternoon sunset photos.
Located on the inland side of the Tamborine Mountain ridge, the lookout boasts epic views of the Numinbah Valley below. This lookout can often be busy with onlookers in the mornings however by the time sunset rolls around there is plenty of space.
Its central location means that the lookout is easily accessible from virtually all of Mt Tamborine’s amazing wedding venues, but you will need to jump in the car to get there.
