Urban Chic Wedding Styling at The Lussh
This luscious and romantic urban styled wedding inspiration, featured by Ivory Tribe, channelled all things feminine and luxurious with a chic modern attitude.
Our incredible venue, The Lussh, a restored 1925 community hall located in Brisbane’s inner city, provided the perfect setting for the vibrant modern wedding styling. This fabulous Brisbane wedding venue features original polished concrete floors, thick timber beams and iconic architectural arches offset by a chic modern bar and stunning double height glazing. The feature glazing opening up to the cliff wall terrace, iconic to the Brisbane location, provided the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies or relaxed cocktail hours.
With a colour palette ranging from soft and subtle neutrals through to the most vibrant of pinks this incredible team worked the brief to perfection. Kate Dawes Flowers created the sensational floral designs featured in each element of the day from the ceremony pillars, to the stunning bouquet, reception table and cocktail hour bar. The epic 4 tiered cake by Hansel and Gretel Cakes bought new life to the traditional cake pillars and we totally loved its vibe!
The reception table styled by Magnolia Studios had all the dreamiest of details including, luxurious modern tableware provided by House of Harvey, heavenly candles from Southern Lights Candle Co in an array of shades of pink, monogrammed napkins designed in conjunction with Sunday Nudes gorgeous stationery and signage collection and the most delicious personal cocktails by Three Foxes Distillery.
Our stunning couple Michelle and Reece were looking dazzling on the day. Michelle wore 2 incredible Karen Willis Holmes designs, switching between the most dramatic and sophisticated of ball gowns to a sleek and modern jumpsuit, with feature shoes from Luminous Assembly the perfect addition to each look. Makeup by Theresa Eltagonde created the effortless and glowing bridal hair and makeup style. Reece wore 2 equally as dashing looks by Black Jacket Suiting, starting in a traditional black suit for the formal elements of the day and finishing in relaxed grey and black style.
This entire day was captured by the incredible team of Todd Hunter McGraw and Mitch Birchall Studios providing photography and videography. From the creation of flat lays, featuring ribbon and ring boxes by The Whole Bride and the most dazzling and unique handcrafted jewellery by Jodi Phillips Jewellery, through to the evening confetti toss, careful attention was given to every aspect and every moment of the day, and the resulting gallery and film are nothing short of amazing.
